"Getting home and saying to yourself 'but I knew the answer' is no consolation when you've failed because you didn't present the answer to your examiners. That's where Finalmed impresses me..."
There's no getting away from it - when you are treating patients you have to know the facts. Knowledge is the key to becoming a doctor. But when it comes to exams, it is no use knowing the facts if you can't present them. Getting home and saying to yourself "but I knew the answer" is no consolation when you've failed because you didn't present the answer to your examiners. That's where Finalmed impresses me - the focus on clinical presenting skills which seems to make a real difference. But in a strange way, patients benefit too. Clear presenting means the facts have become clear in your mind, and will still be there and easy to access when the emergency strikes at 3 in the morning. And that way, everybody wins.
