"...Finalmed guarantees everyone gets the most of the weekend. I soon found out that a small class size meant loads and loads of interaction..."
...there weren’t a million students crowded into one lecture hall. There were only 48 students, which is the way Finalmed guarantees everyone gets the most of the weekend. I soon found out that a small class size meant loads and loads of interaction, which was good for me because I normally get bored of just being lectured at.
Finalmed is all about developing and improving clinical presenting skills that you just can’t get out of a book. We all got the chance to present several cases in front of six different clinicians during each afternoon’s 'Carousel.' A carousel is where you, in a group of eight, rotate around six different stations and each receive personal feedback and guidance on your performance – in case you’re still confused, it basically means you get six small-group sessions with a doc every day!
